On November 1st, while working in the Emergency Department at UPMC Altoona, Travis, a dedicated Emergency Department Technician, was viciously assaulted by a patient. He sustained a fractured skull, brain bleed, and multiple serious injuries, requiring emergency surgery at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.
