Hi, my name is Travis! I’m reaching out for help during a difficult transition.
For the past 3½ years, I’ve served the communities of Jefferson City, Lake Ozark, and Columbia as a rideshare driver, completing over 9,000 rides. I love what I do. I’ve helped people get to work, get home safely, make appointments, and stay connected. This job has been my way of giving back, and it’s something I’m proud of.
At the end of the summer, I was sick for a month and fell behind financially. I kept working as much as I could, but the setback pushed me into a hole I couldn’t climb out of fast enough. Even with that challenge, I managed to move back home to Jefferson City, where I paid my first month’s rent and began getting settled.
However, during the move, my car was repossessed — and losing my vehicle has put me in a tough position because my work depends entirely on having reliable transportation.
Right now, I’m unable to work at all without a car. The repossession also hit my credit hard, which makes financing a replacement extremely difficult. I’m trying to raise $500 to put toward a down payment so I can get back on the road, return to work, and continue serving the people of Jefferson City, Columbia, and Lake Ozark.
What the funds will help with:
• A down payment on a reliable vehicle
• Fees related to securing financing with damaged credit
• Getting back to work as quickly as possible
I’m doing everything I can to rebuild and stay stable, but I can’t close this gap alone. Any amount helps — truly. Even sharing this page makes a difference. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and a huge thanks for supporting me during this transition. I’m ready to get back to work and continue helping my community. Jefferson City is my hometown!
