My name is Robert Bowen and I am the current 2023-2024 School Board President at Kerr-Vance Academy located in North Carolina.

Travis Kersey has been a loyal and dedicated employee of Kerr-Vance Academy for over two decades. For 27 years he has been running the maintenance department while being a role model and smiling face to thousands of kids that have walked into the doors of KVA.

Recently, Travis was the employee spotlight of the week and we learned that one of his dreams is to go to Disney World, as he has never been. Instantly after learning of Travis’s desire to go to the most “Magical Place on Earth” co-workers and members in the community began discussing ways to make this happen. There is no other person who deserves this more than Travis!
