Travis Best retired from 20 years of service with the fire department last pyear. He is a devoted husband and father, who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma that has metastasized. The most recent biopsy revealed a spindle cell neoplasm. This is an extremely rare cancer and will require traveling out of state several times for testing, appointments, and treatments. As of right now, multiple specialists have suggested more testing before treatment begins.
