Help Transita Through Her Mastectomy Journey

8 months ago my sister, Transita found a lump on her breast. The Dr. informed her she would need to undergo a biopsy. On June 24th Transita received the news that the lump was cancerous. The Dr. recommended Transita undergo a lumpectomy to remove the lump and on June 24th the day of the surgery, she discovered another lump. The Drs. attempted to remove both lumps but were not satisfied with the outcome. Due to the location of the second lump, the Drs. were concerned there may be more and rather than performing a third lumpectomy, recommended Transita undergo a mastectomy.

Transita’s mastectomy is scheduled for July 23rd. Her medical bills are already adding up and she is currently awaiting the approval of disability from EDD. If you know my sister the last thing she will do is ask for help. She takes a lot pride in providing for herself and her kids on her own. I have taken it upon myself to start this godundme because the last thing I want my sister to worry about is how to make ends meet, as she awaits her surgery and goes through recovery.

All donations will go towards paying for the medical cost that is accrued for treatment and procedures as well as day to day living expenses as Transita will be off work until she is recovered from the surgery.
