Living with multiple sclerosis has been challenging, and being in a wheelchair made me a prisoner in my own body.

My current room setup makes it hard to feel safe and independent, especially with a closet I can't reach, no safety bars, and my floor falling apart. I'm constantly getting hurt, and having to always ask for help is draining. I'm tired of feeling like a burden; I want to thrive, not just survive.

It's been the biggest kick life has given me, but I've learned to dance under the storm even on my weakest days. I want to create a space where I can feel safe, comfortable, and regain some independence. It’s been tough trying to get off my wheelchair, but I’m determined to keep moving forward.
