Help Transform a Life with Education in Cambodia
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I want to share the inspiring story of my Cambodian brother, Kim. Kim grew up in incredibly challenging circumstances, hustling as a child by selling items on the street to save for a university education. Through sheer determination, he managed to get accepted to university and earn a bachelor’s degree in tourism management. Today, he manages a hotel and enjoys a stable, middle-class salary—breaking free from the cycle of poverty.
Last year, when I visited Kim in Cambodia, he introduced me to one of his younger family members, a bright and ambitious young woman who had recently graduated high school. She dreams of studying accounting at university, but her family cannot afford the tuition fees. I asked Kim, “How much does a degree cost here?” His answer left me stunned: $3,000 USD.
Just $3,000 USD—an amount we might spend on a holiday or a new gadget—can transform this young woman’s life, lifting her out of poverty and opening doors to a middle-class future.
Why This Matters
Education is a powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty. With a degree in accounting, this young woman will have access to stable job opportunities to uplift her and her entire family. In Cambodia, education is the key to building a sustainable future.
How You Can Help
I’m raising $3,000 USD to fund her university education. Every dollar you contribute will go directly toward her tuition fees, helping her achieve her dreams and create a brighter future for her family.
