Hi! I’m Leah Paquette, the founder of CTH Massage a small wellness studio in San Diego. Right now, we’re facing an important impasse: because we sublet, we’re currently at risk of losing our space at 3504 Adams Ave. We currently have two options:
1. Take over the lease myself and transform this location into a fully functional wellness and community hub.
2. Move to an entirely new location, which would mean starting from scratch.
Taking over the lease is the best way to keep the momentum we’ve built in this amazing neighborhood, support our clients, and create a space where local micro businesses, service providers and entrepreneurs can thrive. But we can’t do it alone— we need your help to make this transformation possible!
How Your Contributions Will Be Used
We need $15,000 to make this vision a reality. Here’s where the money will go:
• Renovations: $8,000 - Building treatment rooms, upgrading the courtyard for events, and modernizing the retail storefront.
• Equipment: $4,000 - Essential furnishings and tools to create a welcoming and functional space.
• Community Mural: $1,500 - A vibrant piece of art to showcase local talent and make the space inviting.
• Startup Costs: $2,500 - Covering lease transfer fees, permits, and initial operational costs to ensure a smooth transition.
By contributing, you’re not just funding renovations—you’re helping create an inclusive space for wellness, creativity, and collaboration. Together, we can make wellness accessible and empower local micro-businesses to thrive in our community.
With over a decade of experience in wellness and community-driven projects, I’m proud to have built a small business dedicated to helping people find affordable self-care and building community. With my past experience managing events and running successful wellness programs, I’m confident this project will thrive. Together, we can create something meaningful that will make a lasting impact on San Diego.
Risks & Challenges
Transforming this space is an ambitious project, and we anticipate challenges like construction delays or unexpected costs. However, my experience in project management and passion for community-building will help overcome these hurdles.
We’ve partnered with local contractors and collaborators to ensure the project is completed efficiently and effectively. Your trust and support are key to making this dream a reality.
