Badr and Robin are two friends of mine who live in the middle east whose parents restrict them completely from transition essential to their wellbeing. They have recieved untold mental and physical abuse, being threatened with honor killing among other things. Their country of residence allows me to wire them this money without their parents' knowledge and will help them seek housing, transition and other living expenses within the European Union. It's quite difficult to get a job as a trans person within the arabic world, and impossible with parents who actively attempt to restrict their financial freedom. The sooner that money is raised, the sooner I can get it to them and they can begin long, fulfilling lives on their own terms.
