Given the increasing legislative and on-the-ground threats against trans people, we have decided that we need to relocate from the deep south to move cross-country. I would be finally able to get a medically needed procedure covered by insurance, and both of us would feel safer knowing that our freedoms would be much less likely to be infringed on. We are humbly asking for help with the costs of the move, which are as follows:

rent (first month and deposit): $3100

U-Haul: $2200

gas: $300

We have been trying in earnest to save, but that has proven difficult given the rising costs of living. Any assistance given would be appreciated for a lifetime.
