Hello everyone, my partner and I need to move as soon as we reasonably can to a shield law state and have very limited funds to deal with moving costs, a deposit on an apartment, and any other potential costs that may arise. While we are working hard to find a roommate to help with costs, we haven't found one for certain yet.

We are a couple of out trans people in Alabama. I am on HRT and my partner wants to start back soon. We cannot afford, mentally or physically, to stick around when things change in late January. I've lived here through the first term, I can't see doing it again, and I don't want my partner to go through that. We are currently aiming to move to IL.

Anything helps. Whatever you donate will be used for moving expenses, gas, getting our pets taken care of, and similar costs related to life while moving.
