Help Train Olive So She Can Find Her Furever Home
Donation protected
Hi there, my name is Alex and I could use some help. On 9/20/21 I found Olive/Phoenix, the sweetest blue Pitt, being kicked by a homeless man in an intersection in Crenshaw, CA. With no collar or microchip, I took her in and have been since set on finding the perfect furever home for her. She is 8 months old, had fleas from living outside, and was probably going to be used for breeding. She has since been chipped, vaccinated, and spayed ( all thanks to the Labelle Foundation!).
While Labelle is looking for someone to adopt her, the fact that she has terrible separation anxiety, gets overly excited when she sees other dogs, knows 0 commands, and tugs on her leash make finding a home for this Pitt even more difficult. I don't want her to be in limbo forever and after talking with some trainers, truly believe sending her away to training for 3 weeks will be a life-changing opportunity. At 26, I can't afford to send her by myself which is why I created this gofundme. If you can spare a few dollars, please please consider donating. She's changed my life already for the better and while it kills me that I can't keep her (I live with a 15 y.o. terrier that wasn't keen on a new pup joining our home) I am determined to give her the best life possible and set her up for success.
There are 3 training facilities in various parts of CA that I believe will do a great job in helping Olive be the best dog that she can be. All of these facilities require a down payment before reserving a spot. For this reason, I am keeping my fingers crossed that we can reach the deposit amount before the end of next week. Please spread the word, it means the world to me and everyone that's been working with her thus far!
