Help support training the FIRST trauma surgeon in Ethiopia!

Trauma is the leading cause of death among youth & young adults worldwide, and 90% of these deaths are in low-income settings. In Ethiopia, trauma is the 4th leading cause of death overall, but there are NO fellowship-trained trauma surgeons in the country. Please help us support the trauma fellowship training of Dr. Natnael Gebeyehu, a general surgeon from Ethiopia, who has been accepted to a one-year trauma fellowship training program at CMC Vellore Hospital in India. This training will allow Dr. Nati not only to provide improved surgical care for injured patients in Ethiopia, but also to begin training more surgeons in Ethiopia to do the same.

This fellowship is unfunded and Dr. Nati requires support for travel and living expenses during his training. Thank you for contributing to this vitally important mission!
