Hi, my name is Christina. I am making this fundraiser in the hopes of helping to finance the cost of training my dog into a fully-fledged psychiatric service animal. I struggle with cPTSD along with ADHD and autism, all of which I take medications for. However, medication alone hasn't been enough, as I struggle with manic episodes and anxiety attacks. My psychiatrist has talked to me before about service animals and how they can help in tandem with medications.

I never thought of having a service animal before, as I know how expensive it is to train one. Eris fell into my life back in January. He is a 7 month old chihuahua poodle mix, an intelligent and loving dog. I really believe he is the sign that I needed to finally work towards getting a service animal, as it would be immensely helpful in my day to day life.

Recently, I found a person who specializes in training service animals. The cost for training is nearly $10,000. Suffice it to say, I can't pay for all of that on my own. I don't ever like asking for help financially, but just this once, I am asking. This is something that means so much to me, I just need a little help to get there.

I know the goal is huge, and I don't expect to reach it all. But anything helps. And I thank each and every person who can help by donation or by sharing this fundraiser.
