Hello!
I am raising funds to train a service dog puppy to do seizure alert and medication retrieval. I have absent seizures, which do not usually have convulsions. People often mistake these for "staring into the distance" or fainting, and are not taken seriously by many. I am often nonverbal afterwards and cannot communicate well what my needs are.
My previous service dog is now retired at 13 years old and I have been struggling to get a replacement. I have a beautiful puppy that has the correct temperament and is already taking to training.
Not all of her costs are covered by insurance, however, especially the initial training. I need to come up with 3,000 for the training itself and an extra 500 for evaluations and doctor appointments (and maybe some training treats to help her along)
If you can help, that would be fantastic. Every little bit helps. Thank you!
