Help Trades Replace Tools Lost in Camano Fire
Donation protected
Dear Design and Construction Community and Camano neighbors,
We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and a plea for help. On Friday Sept 15th, a large new build project under construction on Camano Island was destroyed in a fire. The fire has left several hardworking tradespeople without the means to earn their livelihoods. These craftspeople have dedicated their skills to building our communities, and now they need our support to rebuild their tool collections, which were tragically lost in the fire. Their equipment, accumulated over years of hard work and investment, have been reduced to ashes.
We believe in the power of community, and we know that when we come together, we can overcome even the most challenging obstacles. That's why we've started this GoFundMe campaign – to provide these dedicated tradesmen with the help they need to get back on their feet and continue doing what they do best.
While insurance is in place and coverage is hopefully forthcoming, the investigation process to determine the source of the fire will be lengthy, and payouts may not happen for months.
Your generous donations will go directly towards replacing lost tools, ensuring that these skilled craftspeople can return to their jobs and support their families. Here's how your contributions will make a difference:
Replace Lost Tools: Your donations will be given directly to the affected trades, allowing them to purchase new tools and equipment specific to their specialty.
Support Livelihoods: By helping these tradesmen rebuild their tool collections, you're not only restoring their ability to work but also securing the income and stability of their families.
Rebuild Confidence: Your support will boost the morale of these hardworking individuals, showing them that they are not alone and that their community cares about their well-being.
Due to GoFundMe's limitations on the number of direct beneficiaries, donations will be collected by Shannon Adamson for distribution to the individual trades.
No donation is too small, and every dollar makes a difference. If you are unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks. The more people who hear about this cause, the greater the impact we can achieve together.
Let's rally together as a community to support these tradesmen in their time of need. Together, we can rebuild what was lost and help them continue their essential work, shaping the communities we all call home.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity. Your support means the world to us and to the tradesmen who have been affected by this devastating fire.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Shannon Adamson
