My name is Tracy and we were part of the flooding from the excessive rain June 3. I have 4 year old twins, an 11 year old, and pets. I thought I had everything covered when I purchased insurance that had water coverage. Apparently Farmers Insurance only covers water damage from pipes. This has left us without a washer and dryer. Many years of memories from baby books for all three kids and myself, photos dating back to 1980, birthday cards from family that have passed, and many items given to me from my family in England. The kids lost many of their toys including stuffed animals, board games, train set, action figures, and Lego. I saved as much as I could, but 90% is a complete loss. Majority of the items being stored in the basement were in plastic tubs, but the water was so high they were completely full of water. We will have to move due to the mold issues and the hvac not being operational. Anything would be appreciated and will help us move to a safe and healthy home.
