Help Tracy Zimmerman with fight of cancer!
My friend's named Tracy Zimmerman was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (bone caner) in April 2020. It was determined that the cancer is result of his service in Vietnam, exposure to Agent Orange.
He has been going through chemotherapy since April 2020 to present. As result of his progress through chemotherapy he is now eligible for a bone marrow transplant, stem cell treatment.
He has started his treatment at the University of Minnesota , Bone Marrow Treatment Clinic on June 4, 2021. His treatment will take approximately 6-8 weeks.
Due to Covid19 restrictions the normal accommodations available for families at the University are unavailable. So, they have to seek lodging in the community . They will be staying at a motel near the clinic. Although the VA recognizes this is a service-connected condition, they consider stem-cell treatment an experimental treatment so, will provide no financial support.
They estimate that the expense for food, lodging and transportation will run to approximately $7,000. Pauline and Tracy live on a fixed income so, out of pocket expenses will place a great hardship on their finances.
From our hearts we greatly appreciate a donation, if you can, and your continued prayers, love and support during this difficult times.
