Dear Family, Friends and Flockstars

 

As many of you may know, I have been diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer. I was misdiagnosed in March and finally diagnosed in May of 2022 and started chemo and immunotherapy in July 2022 to December 2022. Chemo and cancer put me in the hospital twice and I have not been able to work since December.

I have spent the last few years walking at various breast cancer walks to support the angels and survivors of breast cancer. I have now moved from a supporter to prayerfully a survivor. This is my new cancer journey. 

 

My mass had grown from a walnut size to a softball size in 5 months.

 

I have gone thru 15 weeks of chemo and was hospitalized twice.

I have lost my hair and still have radiation and surgeries to complete.

However, I am strong and I will get through this and I am not ashamed to share my story, share my fears and ask people to help me with the hardest and most challenging challenge of all… the financial expenses.

 

I do not want to lose my beach home or have to sell it, so I am trying to remain strong and asking for help where I need it, besides the prayers to survive all of this. However, the medical bills are now the least of my financial worriies.

 

The chemo and sureties have left me with no work. Therefore, not only is this cancer affecting me financially with medical bills now it’s just trying to keep a roof over my head with little paychecks coming in. 

I want to live to see my daughter get married.

I want to live to see my future grand children.

I want to live in my beach condo and be able to pay my bills. 

I’ve reached out to so many organizations but none have helped me so far.
