I’m Tracy, an award-winning author of books for young readers, and I’d love your help in bringing some books to the Creative Writing class at Atascadero High School!

About the Goal

I’m visiting Atascadero High School's Creative Writing class this September, and to maximize the educational impact, I'd love to help each student get their very own young adult or middle grade book. My fundraising goal reflects the hardcover book price plus tax and fundraising platform fees for one copy per Creative Writing class student.

I’m partnering with their local indie bookstore The Cove Books to fulfill the order, and to maximize the impact of your gift, I’ll be supplementing the donation with an in-person author visit to discuss my--and more importantly their--work.

About Atascadero High School

Atascadero High School is located in the city of Atascadero in San Luis Obispo County. It serves approximately 1,250 students and includes the communities of Atascadero, Carrizo Plains, Creston, Pozo, and Santa Margarita.

** Good news! We've met our initial goal and have put the book order in. Any additional funds will be spent on more books for more classrooms. I truly appreciate your generosity, and I know these students will too.
