Help Tracy and her Family Through This Tough Time

My name is Tracy, and my story is long, so I'm going to try to keep it brief. Five years ago, I was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer. It's been quite a journey. I am currently what they call NEAD, which means no evidence of active disease. I am very blessed. I'm a mom to seven children. I am a sign language interpreter, and I am currently and have been for quite a while unable to physically work as it is excruciatingly painful for me. The more I physically do, the worse I am; the more weak I become, the more my legs drag and feel like someone poured cement in them. The more I am down for the count and in excruciating nerve pain where I feel like a horde of angry bees is just stabbing me from head to toe, and I have been shoved into an oven. That's on broiler.

I've been dealing with a debilitating, painful, weakening nerve autoimmune disease for nine years. We have not figured out exactly what it is. I've been in and out of the hospital a lot. And the more I do, the weaker I am, and the more painful it is. I finally have a new neurologist who is working to get me on my feet and hopefully active to be able to get back to work. I have been unable to work for quite a while now.

My inability to work has put a huge burden on our family, and financially we are in bad shape at the moment. We are in need of help with our bills, and our daughter Emma is getting ready to head off to college. We need to have her there in just three weeks. I love my work. I love what I do and I pray that this these infusions that I will get twice monthly for about six hours a day each time will be the answer to prayer and get me back to where I need to be.

We are appreciative of any help anyone would like to give us. There is no pressure. No need to give unless it is your desire to do so. If you cannot give, just give this a prayer and share if you can.

I am eternally grateful. Please say some prayers and some good luck for my IVIG infusions to make a life-changing difference for me. I am due to get my next one on January 13. It was the soonest they could get me in after my insurance approved it. I am extremely lucky to have insurance that has approved it; many people get denied and fight it for years. My neurologist said because I've tried and failed on just about every single option there is for someone in my position, they really didn't have a choice but to approve it. Here we go with my new treatment and my life-changing hope. Thank you so much!
