On Wednesday March 3rd we experienced an apartment fire that displaced our family - we are currently living in a hotel looking for permanent housing.

Luckily no one was in our apartment at the time. Barry  came home and found the apartment filled with smoke; his first instinct was to find both our dogs and get them out of the house. He quickly called 911.

Thanks to the quick action of the Keene Fire Department and surrounding towns they were able to contain the damage to our bedroom, closet, bathroom and my son's bedroom. We lost everything in our bedroom including all of our clothes, furniture, bed, etc.

To our dismay, the smoke that filled our apartment also permanently damaged most of our possessions - furniture, clothing, mattresses, bed frames, televisions, and many other personal items.

Any small donation is appreciated as we have to replace most of our belongings.

Thank you to anyone that can donate, we will pay it forward.
