My sweet Sis-in-Law, Tracie Wood, is one of the hardest working women I have ever known. She has worked 1 or more jobs to keep her family afloat, for over 30 years. In November, Tracie was found to have a small tumor at the top of her lung. The doctors are still trying to sort out what she is dealing with, and how to treat it. Meanwhile, she has been advised by the docs not to go back to work until at least the end of February, or her insurance coverage might be compromised, even having coverage denied. Her husband Tom is disabled, and Tracie is the sole breadwinner. The funds I am asking for help with will buffet them as they navigate her bout with Cancer, her treatment(s), daily medications, groceries, bills, and trips to Charlotte, and local doctors. It will also serve to allow Tracie to focus on fighting this illness, with less stress and worry. Tracie is the backbone of our family. The constant. The one who always meets whatever our family faces with strength and a strong positive attitude. Now, she needs us to be her soft place to land.
