Help Tracey Care for Randy Through His Health Struggles
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tracey from Tennille/Sandersville Washington county, Georgia. My husband, Randy has stage 4 esophageal and upper stomach cancer. He is also having problems with his heart, A-fib, and is prone for blood clots. Recently, a week ago he was hospitalized for acute blood loss, pneumonia and heart failure. He is also on oxygen 24/7. Thank God he recovered. They had to give him three units of blood. Even though he beet the odds this time, I worry about the next. I know and realize he's in Gods hand. Ive been working throughout all of this and struggling to keep it all together, but its getting harder to work and take care of him. He is to the point now where he he needs around the clock care. Financially we're broke. The hurricane Helene passed over us and even though we still have a roof, we lost everything in our freezers. We were without power for nine days. We've had a little assistance from fema for food but it didn't cover that I had to get a generator and gas for those nine days. All this put us so far behind on bills. Back to Randy, when all of these medical issues started we had a small business. We weren't wealthy but we survived and raised three beautiful children. They're all grown now and help as they can. With his diagnosis we weren't aware at the time was only a year or a little longer with treatment. He has beat the odds by a year. They told us last week its a time game right now. When he was first diagnosed he weighed close to 400 lbs. now he weighs 224 lbs. He has lossed so much muscle mass he is unable to get up and down without assistance. So all his needs are on me. I bath him dress him and other daily needs he has. Its been a hard and long struggle, but I married him for better or worse, and I love him. I'm asking for financial help so I can continue doing these things for him. I pray every day. May God bless you in every way for any donations you provide. Thank you for listening to our story. Any and all funds will be used in the care of him, by paying our bills, rent, utilities and others. Also helping with getting him to and from doctors appointments. And if and when God takes him home to help with any finial arrangements.
