Help Tracey, Jenn & Family in Their Time of Need

Donation protected
For those of you who know Tracey and Jenn (also known as Aggie), you are aware of the challenges that their family has been facing for over two years since Tracey’s initial diagnosis of stage 3 ovarian cancer. Tracey has been a warrior throughout this fight as she has gone through several rounds of chemotherapy, a recent surgery for a serious complication with the cancer progressing and seeking second opinions all under the care of an outstanding oncologist. Unfortunately, they were informed recently of the devastating news that there are no more treatments. Tracey is now at home surrounded by her family and friends under hospice care.

Tracey has been a “giver” her entire life and professionally chose a career in healthcare first as a registered nurse and then advancing her education at Wake Forest University to become a Physician’s Assistant in 2010. She makes lasting impressions with every person she interacts with from friends to colleagues to patients to strangers. But what she is most proud of is being a mother. Jenn serves in an integral role within UNCG Athletics Department assisting student-athletes and overseeing various areas of the department for the past 21 years after having graduated from there and having been a member of the softball team.

Meeting in 2010, Tracey and Jenn have developed such a special relationship that all wish to have in their lifetime - full of love and adventures from the beach to concerts to sporting events to having a family of four children, Austin, Makayla and seven-year-old twin boys, Brody and Quinn. Both Brody and Quinn are continuing their daily routines of going to school, playing outside and making pictures for Mommy. They surround her with these pictures and stuffed animals to make sure she knows she is protected and loved. Tracey's and Jenn's children are the light of their lives.

Both Tracey and Jenn are amazing human beings who are compassionate, empathetic and generous and who have always been willing to go the extra mile in helping those around them. Observing them and the grace, positivity and strength that they have displayed over these last two years has been astounding. They are two of the strongest people we have ever met, and those of us who are fortunate enough to know them are so grateful to have them in our lives.

However, Tracey and Jenn struggle themselves to ask for any help. For that reason, we are establishing this GoFundMe page in hopes of raising funds to help alleviate the stress of any financial burdens from medical expenses not covered by insurance, end of life expenses and to ensure that Tracey and Jenn’s family are supported in the years to come. Thank you very much in advance for taking the time to read this and for considering a contribution. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers.
