My name is Trace, and I am currently facing stage 2 Hodgkin’s lymphoma. I am in the middle of treatment, which has made it impossible for me to work right now. On top of managing my health, I’ve recently run into serious car trouble—my mechanic says my engine may not have much life left. This couldn’t have come at a worse time, as I’m supposed to start college in January and need reliable transportation to get to my classes and medical appointments.

The funds raised here will go directly toward either fixing my current car or helping me purchase a new one if repairs aren’t possible. Having a dependable vehicle is essential for me to continue my treatment and pursue my education. Every bit of support brings me closer to stability and hope during a really challenging chapter of my life.

Update: Toyota has also said my engine is most likely near the end of its life and has recommended replacing the engine, unfortunately this outweighs the price of the car and since the car is already old it isn’t beneficial to fix.
