I am a parent, essayist, photographer, bird nerd, and electrician, but I earn 99.99% of my income from that last descriptor. I recently fell from a ladder and broke my left fibula at work. I will be unable to earn a full paycheck for the foreseeable future. I am hoping and needing to bridge the gap between workers' comp (which pays 60% of my average pay over the previous nine months) and actual bills. Any help will go towards rent, utilities, groceries, child care, and miscellaneous expenses not covered by insurance.
