On February 4, my cousin Toya Thompson Brown underwent an extensive 8-hour surgery to repair a complex intra-abdominal hernia. The surgeons had to carefully place her organs and intestines back into her abdomen and reinforce the area with surgical mesh. By God’s grace, the surgery was successful, and Toya is now home, but she faces a long and painful recovery ahead. The financial burden is immediate and overwhelming, with outstanding medical bills, the cost of medications, follow-up care, and time away from work all adding up quickly.
Toya has endured years of pain with strength, faith, and grace, always supported by her loving family, friends, and church community. Now, she urgently needs that same village to help carry her through this next chapter. Your support will help ease the financial stress so Toya can focus on healing. If you are able, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Any amount helps, and your prayers and support mean the world to Toya and our family. Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and for standing with Toya in her time of need.
