My fiancé, Vishnu was involved a very serious road accident in Goa, India and has sustained major head trauma and potentially life changing injuries to his body . He was admitted to a government hospital 7 days ago and has undergone two operations on his head to date .
Goa is in complete lockdown and it's been impossible to transfer him to a private hospital as not one single bed is available due to covid crisis . Vishnu has incurred about £600 so far in medical costs however moving forward he will need constant care and rehabilitation when hes discharged .
I'm frantic being so far apart relying on help from friends in the UK and strangers in India . His family are not helping and of course the language barrier is a problem . The Covid situation is a logistical nightmare and I've exhausted everything .I am hoping to have him discharged into our newly acquired home in Goa but he will need stretchered into the wet floor property and we will need to employ someone to care for him continuely.
Rent is still to be paid for the restaurant and of course the house
Vishnu is a good man, hard working -he opened his dream restaurant in January in Goa. We have been separated now for almost 13 months and were meant to be married in February however covid restrictions has postponed our wedding several times to date . There is no NHS, no financial support in India, it's all hugely worrying .
Thank you
Every donation large or small will be graciously recieved . ❤
