Hello you wonderful people

I never thought I’d be in this position again, but I’m reaching out for help for someone who means the world to me, my loyal companion, Shadow, my beautiful Belgian Malinois.

Recently, Shadow was diagnosed with a large abdominal mass, a malignant carcinoma. Hearing this has been devastating, and while I would do absolutely anything for her, the cost of the surgery and ongoing treatment is more than I can manage alone. I’ve already exhausted my PetPlan insurance, and I’m now facing difficult decisions no pet owner ever wants to make.

Shadow isn’t just a dog, she’s family and the closest thing I have to a child. She’s been by my side through everything, loyal, steadfast, full of life, and always there when I’ve needed her most. She's helped me through some of the darkest times of my life and for that I'm eternally grateful for her.

Now it’s my turn to be there for her.

I'm not so naive to understand that everyone is facing their own challenges, and I don’t take this lightly. This is my responsibility, and mine alone, but if anyone is in a position to help, no matter how small, it would mean more than I can put into words. Every donation will go directly toward her surgery and treatment, giving her the chance she deserves.
