Leo is five years old and has mild cerebral palsy. He cannot walk because the muscles in his legs are very tight. He is a very bright kid, has a fantastic sense of humour, and nothing bothers him.

He has the chance of SDR surgery in the near future which would mean he will require intense physiotherapy, which will be very expensive. Ideally needs a lot more physiotherapy than he is currently getting through the NHS. He has gone from once every two weeks to once a month, and it's just not enough.

I want to raise as much as possible so we can afford to pay for as many physiotherapy sessions as possible every week. After Leo's SDR surgery, physiotherapy will become much more intense with many more sessions.

Leo is my world, and it is heartbreaking when we go to a playpark or when he wants to catch up with my other son but can't walk or run. He sees the other kids playing, walking and running, and I would do anything so he could join them.

Leo is such a happy child with an amazing personality and deserves every chance in life to do the normal things. I want to raise as much as possible to afford the best care possible that Leo deserves. Intense physiotherapy sessions will help him towards his SDR surgery, and afterwards, he will have the chance to walk and play and enjoy life as a normal child would.
