My name is Yasmina Mokhtari. I have been actively involved in animal rescue since 1984. I am the fonder of Lea Valley Dog Rescue, a small not for profit foster based dog rescue witch has a no kill policy.

I am appealing for funds to help us pay some of the veterinary bill of one of our permanent resident dog who suffered a fractured leg. Dolly was rescued from a kill shelter and endured unimaginable suffering and abuse before coming into our care which makes it hard for her to trust people she does not know and will spend the reset of her life loved and pampered by her current foster mum.

The cost of her surgery, x rays and after care amounts to £2000 which is a huge amount to find for a small self funded rescue with many dogs in its care. But we cannot deny Dolly the chance to live a happy life after all she has suffered because of lack of funds.
