Dedicate a memorial bench for Baby Yoyo

Hi, my name is Sahar, and I am raising funds for my nephew Yousef John Shreiba (known as Baby Yoyo), who unexpectedly passed away. Yoyo was diagnosed with congenital muscular dystrophy (CMD), which prevented him from being able to move independently. However, his laughter and smile radiated so much love to all those around him. We thought we had more time with him, but now that he has suddenly departed from our lives, we are looking for a way to honor him and bring awareness of his condition.

 

For anyone who would like to console our family by sending flowers, we instead welcome your support in helping us sponsor a memorial bench in his honor. We hope to raise enough funds to obtain a bench in the city of Dana Point near his home, as our little angel loved going on daily walks by the ocean.

 

Dana Point has always been home for his mom. She grew up, got married to Richard, and eventually they settled down with their family in Dana Point shortly after Yoyo’s diagnosis. It was because of him that they moved back to Dana Point. He brought people together and our families closer. Whenever  they would go to the beach, Yoyo always loved the sound of the ocean. His mother would say listening to the waves crash and feeling the ocean breeze was their form of meditation. He enjoyed being outdoors, but more than anything, he loved being around others.
