Hi, my name is Tova, and asking for help is not something that comes easily to me. I’ve always been the person who shows up for others, works hard, and finds a way forward—but right now, my family and I are facing something bigger than we can manage alone.

Over the past few weeks, my health took a sudden and serious turn. I am currently undergoing testing and treatment planning for cancer, along with complications that have already required hospitalization and procedures. What comes next will likely include surgery, additional hospital stays, and ongoing treatment. While I focus on getting through this medically, the financial reality has become overwhelming.

My husband is our rock, but his income depends on being physically present at work, and time away means lost wages. I recently became insured again, but medical bills from earlier hospital stays, travel for specialty care, medications, and everyday living expenses continue to pile up. Like many families, we live paycheck to paycheck—and this diagnosis didn’t pause our responsibilities.

This fundraiser will help cover medical bills, travel and lodging for treatment, household expenses, and lost income while we navigate this season.
