Hey guys, my name is Jessica. I used to work with Totiyana at Summa Psych Unit! She became someone I got very close to and have stayed in contact with since I left! This momma is such an amazing woman, and she's going through some very difficult times right now! Back in November, she was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer! This momma has such a beautiful family, and they need our help! Below is a message she posted on Facebook and made me realize I need to do more for her! So please, any bit will help this family right now!

Message from Totiyana:

On Nov 8th, I was given the worst news of my life. I would be fighting triple xxx negative breast cancer . A very aggressive cancer. Dr's hate to see this cancer because they don't know what's feeding it. What started out not so bad has been horrible the last month. I've been fighting for my life, and it hasn't been easy. I'm in constant pain all over. All of a sudden, it's hard to perform simple tasks. I have two beautiful kids to live for, and sometimes, it's not easy to keep fighting. But I will not give up. I appreciate everyone's love and support through this journey. My village is the best I could ask for. Anytime I've needed help, they came running. To sitting with me every week for 4 hours of chemo to all of my other appointments. To friends and family bringing food or items I needed. A lot of times, I question, but I try not to. Lord knows I'm struggling, and I need help. Everyone keeps saying God wouldn't put more on you than you can handle. Well, I feel like that's a lie. Just pray for my sanity. My surgery is tomorrow so they can try and remove the mass, since I've had some issues with chemo. I pray everything goes smoothly. I've been off work since 12/24, and these little short-term disability checks are not cutting it lol. Please keep me lifted in prayers; it will be a 2-hour surgery.

Update: She had her surgery; the surgery went well. She is waiting for the biopsy of the leg and breast to go from there. That typically takes approximately 1-2 weeks.
