I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to share a personal health challenge and ask for your support.

As many of you may know, I have been living with lymphedema since 2012, which was triggered by a severe allergic reaction after being bitten by fire ants at my workplace. This condition has greatly impacted my daily life and, unfortunately, it has reached a stage of third-degree lymphedema that is irreversible.

In 2015, I suffered a pulmonary embolism due to two large blood clots in my lungs, and I continue to face health challenges every day. I was recently discharged from rehabilitation and am following my doctor's advice to keep my legs elevated to help manage the swelling. However, my insurance only covers $300 towards a necessary recliner, which costs $2,423. After the insurance reimbursement, I still need to cover $2,123.
