On Wednesday, May 6, an EF3 tornado tore through Brookhaven and Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, leaving devastation in its wake. Many families lost their homes, vehicles, and all of their belongings, and the impact has been overwhelming. As someone with deep roots in these communities, I have family and friends who are among those affected. Their lives have been turned upside down, and they are facing unimaginable challenges as they try to recover.
