Hello everyone,  my name is Torie. On Saturday I slipped down some rocks while camping at Kern River and face planted into a rock. I am very VERY grateful that the worst thing that happened to me during this accident is a shattered nose. I went to the ER got cat scans and was recommended to go to an ENT  ( Ear, nose and throat doctor) for further care.  After a camera up my nose and another cat scan, I've been told to have surgery. Prior to the accident, I already had problems breathing while sleeping. Letting my nose heal naturally without surgical attention would permanently alter my ability to breathe out of my left nostril.  The BIGGEST issue is I dont have health insurance, and ENT doctors dont accept Medicad or Medi-cali. I am trying to raise $6500 by Monday, Monday is the latest I can get the surgery as its already been 5 days and since I am " young" my nose is already trying to rebuild and reheal in this state.  $6500 is alot, but anything you can give will help me with this out of pocket bill!
