Help Tori Recover After a Devastating Motorcycle Accident
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Julian, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my incredible fiancée, Tori, who was in a terrifying motorcycle accident on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
Around 2 PM, while riding onto the 401 at Veterans Memorial in Ontario, Tori hit a patch of sand on an on-ramp corner. Her bike slid, and she crashed into a sign, hit the ditch was thrown 15 feet into the air, and landed hard on the asphalt in the right lane of the highway. Her motorcycle ended up in the second lane. A very nice van driver and bystanders stopped traffic, called 911, and kept her safe. An off-duty officer nearby jumped in to help, and kind strangers offered a blanket and gathered her belongings. Her helmet had to be unlatched because it was choking her, and she was unconscious, bleeding from her mouth.
The ambulance arrived quickly, and at the hospital, we were told the extent of her injuries: a broken hand with multiple fractures, a concussion, severe road rash on both sides, a stitched gouge in her finger, and a gash on her shin. She’s in severe pain and incredibly lucky to be alive. Doctors have put her hand in a cast for now, but she may need surgery after follow-up X-rays this week.
Tori is a dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) at Mt. Hope Long-Term Care (St. Joseph’s Hospital), where she uses her hands for every task during her shifts. This accident means she’ll be out of work for at least 4–6 weeks, resulting in a loss of income during that time. As a mom to her amazing 6-year-old son, who was with his grandparents during the accident, she now faces some challenges. Her son attends school full-time in grade 1, and she’ll need help with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, preparing meals, and also getting him to and from school. To make matters worse, her car is currently in the shop, with no word yet on repair approval, and her motorcycle’s insurance claim is uncertain, as the accident was caused by sand on the road.
We’re reaching out to family, friends, and kind-hearted people who might be able to help Tori through this tough time. Your donations will go toward:
Covering lost wages so she can focus on healing without financial stress.
Medical expenses, including possible hand surgery and follow-up care.
Daily necessities like meals, transportation, and support for her son’s school routine.
Other unexpected costs while her car and motorcycle claims are processed.
Tow expense $700.60.**
Every dollar helps, whether it’s $5, $10, or more, and will make a huge difference in giving Tori and her son stability during her recovery. If you can’t donate, please share this page with others—it means just as much.
Tori is a fighter, and with your support, we know she’ll come through this stronger than ever. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, sharing, and helping her get back on her feet.
With gratitude,
Julian & Tori
