Help Tori Compete in Miss Houston

My passion and my sole reason for competing is to spread the important message of suicide prevention. When competing in pageants you are given the opportunity, the platform, and the stage to speak from your heart and discuss what you are passionate about. Which is exactly why this is the perfect profession for me because I want to reach millions and millions of people in our nation and around the world and share the information I have learned myself through life experiences and hardships I’ve had to face head on. I lost two of my best friends due to suicide at a really young age and Ive been dealing with guilt from those tragedies for years. Constantly questioning what could I have done to save them and its a difficult process to experience and go through, but I learned so much over the years and educated myself on the most effective ways you could save someone from suicide and it is my purpose to share that with the world.
