Help Tori and Z Rebuild After Storm Damage

I think a bike saved my life?
Hi, my name is Tori, and I’m a single mother doing my best to care for my child (Z) while like most of the world is living paycheck to paycheck. Last night, a devastating event turned our lives upside down. seconds after I got out of bed to bring my sons bike inside so it wouldn’t fly away during the storm— a large tree crashed through our home landing right where I was laying in bed, causing major damage and destroying some of our personal belongings.
This situation has been heartbreaking and stressful for all of us — especially for my son, who is on the autism spectrum. He struggles with big, unexpected changes, and this has completely disrupted his sense of safety, comfort, and routine. It's been incredibly hard trying to support him emotionally while also dealing with the practical emergency of losing our home. While some of the house is accessible it is no longer safe for him.
We also have two cats (Heihei and Sir Louieton the 3rd) who are part of our little family. They've been shaken up by the damage too, and now they may need temporary housing or care while we figure things out. I'm trying my best to make sure we all stay together and safe, but I don’t have the resources to do this alone.
We lost some of our essentials — including beds, dressers, clothing, and some random room items. Right now I’m asking for help to cover the costs of:
Tree removal from our house
Temporary housing or moving expenses
Replacing furniture (beds, dresser, basics)
Care and shelter for our two cats if needed
Restoring stability and routine for my son (his trampoline was also squished and he used it a lot for self regulating)
This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through, and I’m doing everything I can to hold it together for my child. Any donation, share, or even kind words means more than I can say. Every little bit helps us get closer to a safe, stable home again.
Thank you for reading, caring, and supporting our family through this difficult time.
With love and gratitude,
Tori&Z.
