Tony was a legend at 1 RSME, Chatham. Over the past 18 years 1000s of Royal Engineer soldiers passed through the gates of 1 Reg. Everyone crossed paths with Tony. He stood out in a crowd, he was known for his old school ways, his cheekyness and toughness. Tony would happy approach you in the gym and correct your lifting. He'd slag you off for Crossfit and tell you to add more weight to your lifts. Everyone has a story about how they first encountered him, everyone will laugh when their story is shared. Tony Changed alot of our lives, he wasn't just a coach he was our friend. If he loved you he loved you. He deserves the best of best send offs.
