If you live in or around our community, you probably know Tony. He's the man who fixes what's broken, keeps things running, and does it all with a quiet steadiness that makes this place feel like home. He's also a neighbor, a father to Jasper, and someone who has always shown up for others without being asked. Now we have a chance to show up for him.
Tony's partner has been accepted into a Certified Nursing Assistant program in Castle Rock — a meaningful step toward a career in healthcare and a better future for their family. The program runs Wednesdays and Fridays over four weeks, starting in late April. Eight days total. The problem is simple and solvable: getting from Boulder to Castle Rock and back is a 60+ mile journey each way, and without reliable transportation, those eight days stand between her and that certification.
That's where this community comes in. We're raising funds to cover transportation costs for all eight sessions — whether that's rideshare, gas contributions for volunteer drivers, or a combination of both. Any buffer beyond the immediate need will go directly to the family as a small cushion of support while she completes the program. Tony has given so much to the place we all call home. This is a small, concrete, time-sensitive way to give something back — and to show what a real community looks like when it decides to act like one. Every dollar gets her closer to Castle Rock. Every dollar matters.
