As many of you may know Tonya (Mom) recently underwent a routine surgery in which we unexpectedly found out she has stage 3 ovarian cancer. With the level of aggression she had little to no time to think she immediately flew out to Georgia for a consult and ended up staying for her first round of chemotherapy. She has now undergone 2 rounds but shortly before round 3 she fell very ill. She was admitted into the hospital with many complications. She is now out but still recovering and waiting till she can get back out to Georgia to start her fight back. Of course, chemo, medications, travel etc has not nor will be cheap. With the new year insurance has started over so she now has a new deductible and new out of locket that has to be met before she is covered at 100%. With that being said we are throwing her a benefit to help cover the cost in the meantime.
