My name is Tonya Jenkins. I have survived two brain aneurysms and two spinal cord surgeries. Due to my medical illinesses, I now find myself in need of hand controls to drive my car; I would also benefit from electronic devices to aid with my walking. Throughout all of this, I have contiued teaching, which is my passion. I spend between $75 to $100 per week in transportation fees to get to and from work. The alterations to my car are $2910 and the electronic walk aid device is $5000.  My car alteration will take place in December so that I will be ready to drive to work starting in January. I would also like to have the walk aid device by January.
