My journey with cancer began when I was just 13 years old. I endured 11 months of chemotherapy, and while I hoped that would be the end of my battle, life had other plans. In September 2025, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and went through another 6 months of chemo. Now, I am facing thyroid cancer and need surgery to remove it. Because of a rare DICER1 mutation syndrome, I am unable to work, and my health challenges continue. I also have a spot on my brain and two in my stomach that doctors are monitoring closely. Unfortunately, I have maxed out on chemotherapy for life, so surgery is my only hope to have more time with my kids and grandkids.
The funds raised will go directly toward the out-of-pocket cost for my thyroid cancer surgery and any further testing needed. This surgery is essential for giving me more time with my family and the chance to see my seven grandbabies grow a little older. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference in my fight and help ease the financial burden during this difficult time.
On top of me facing my health issues my second to youngest grandson who is 2 has the same dicer1 mutation that causes the kind of cancers I have gotten and has a large mass in his left lung that needs removed and needs a biopsy. it covers more then half his lung. So, any help now would be greatly appreciated.
God is good all the time. He only gives us as much as we can handle. Everything happens for a reason, and I am grateful for any support you can offer. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to me and my family. Lots of love and thank you!
