A few years ago, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) — a relentless, unpredictable disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. Since then, my life has been anything but normal. I've faced pain, numbness, mobility challenges, and extreme fatigue. But one of the hardest battles has been with severe depression, something that’s often invisible but just as debilitating.

MS has taken a toll not just on my body, but also on my mind and spirit. There have been times when hope felt completely out of reach. But through it all, I’ve kept fighting — and now, I’m holding onto something I haven’t felt in a long time: a chance.

That chance is stem cell therapy, an innovative treatment being offered overseas that’s shown real promise for people living with MS. In many cases, it has helped slow the progression of the disease and even restore lost function. It’s not available to me here in the U.S., and unfortunately, it isn’t covered by insurance.
