Help Tony: weight loss procedure and hernia repair

Our wonderful Tony needs help. He is starting the long journey of weight loss; and getting healthier. Tony has been struggling with a hernia for some time. In order to fix this, he will need to lose some weight. In order to lose the weight and fix the hernia he will be going through weight loss surgery; and all that comes with that.

Not only is this a daunting mental, emotional, and physical task; it's a very daunting financial stress.

And I, Joseph Thompson, have been lucky enough to know Tony and the Porters for many years; as well as be dubbed 'The Red Headed Step Child' of the family. That's what Tony is to me. Family. If it weren't for him and his family not only would I have been homeless, but I would have been so much worse off. It's because of them that I can claim any success of any kind.
They don't do so much for just me, but for so many people. They have touched so many lives through their kindness, talent, cooking, friendship, long talks, great laughs, singing, music; and the list goes on. I'll never be able to repay them for all he and his family have done to me. But I would like to do all I can to be a help.
I'd ask for your help to please help Tony and his family at this difficult time.
