Help Tony Trout Recover and Adjust to a New Life
Donation protected
Hello friends. As most of you know, my dear friend Tony Trout was seriously injured recently. At the end of July, Omaha was hit by a disastrous wind storm that left 200,000 without power and many with homes and trees damaged.
A few days later, Tony, as he would usually do, decided to help out a neighbor with some branches hanging from their tree. As he was removing the branches, the ladder he was on shifted and Tony fell from the ladder. Tony sustained serious injuries involving his vertebrae and spinal cord. Tony had emergency surgery and is now in rehab. It is likely that Tony will be wheelchair-bound for a very long time. This is a life-altering injury for Tony and his family.
Insurance will cover some, but not all, of the costs that this injury presents to the family. Adjustments to their living conditions and their automobiles will have to be made. So, with humbleness, I am asking if any of you could find it in your hearts to help in any way you can, as there will be many unforeseen expenses the Trout family will encounter along this difficult journey.
