Help Tony the Cat Get Urgent Vet Care

Hi my name is Magdalena! Our family first found Tony in June of this year when he showed up dehydrated in the Texas heat. Since then we’ve been trying to build a bond with him. He’s a feral cat who started out looking in good shape. In the past month he’s somehow injured both his front left and and rear right leg. He’s struggling to walk and has lost a significant amount of weight. I finally managed to lure him into our garage today! He urgently needs some vet attention but my family simply does not have the funds to do so. We’re asking for donations for this sweet handsome boy to see the vet. He’ll most likely need bloodwork, basic vaccines, x-rays, antibiotics and who knows what else. It’s bound to be expensive. This is also to help with his general care in the meantime. Flea treatment, food, litter, and enrichment. Any help is deeply appreciated, not just by us but by Tony. Who for probably the first time in his life, is finally safe.

tony is resting for the night but his overall condition is so sad. 2 swollen legs, he’s very dirty,sooo tired.

Today on October 25th Tony got to see the vet for a preliminary checkup, he was able to get some antibiotics and pain meds to last him 4 days.

He still needs bloodwork, more pain medication in a couple days, at least 2 more follow up appointments, neutering, feline aids and leukemia testing.

for now, let’s hope the antibiotics help his legs.
